Hello everyone, first post here...
so I have a 1993 F150 , 2wd 300 6cyl installed new fuel pump on the front tank. First 100 miles ran great,no issues . Parked truck for 3 days drove it in town driving about 30-35mph had to slow down for flow of traffic. Changed lanes and tried to accelerate and truck acted as if it was running out of gas, so I switched to rear tank , truck then ran fine. So I switched back to front and it ran fine. But it will sputter now ...
thanks for looking

you need to check the fuel pressure to be sure while it is sputtering IMO. do you have a check engine light on? Never hurts to check the codes. Sounds to me like you bought a bad fuel pump. Unfortunately new doesn’t mean good these days. Check the fuel pressure though to be sure before doing all that work. What brand pump did you purchase? It may be possible that the front tank has debris that get sucked up into the in tank screen/filter that fall off when the other tank is in use allowing it to work normally for a few. Did you make sure the tank was clean inside when you changed the pump?
