What is this?

Before installing a light bar at the rear of the bed in the gap between the bumper and the bottom of the tailgate - I find this critter. Removeable? What is it?

That’s just a plastic block they put in place where the light bar goes for trucks that dont get it. There is a hole for the wiring behind it covers up. Throw it away/

I was wondering the same thing. I saw it as I was planning where to put the Nilight led light strip.

When you buy the OEM light you need to buy the harness too. Will need to be hard wired in. Power and find a ground

I did this and it took 5 minutes. I bought the oem light off ebay and bought the harness you need here.

There is a plug about in the center up behind the spare tire right near where the hole for this light is. You unplug the harness and plug this harness between the 2 oem plugs and it has a plug that goes to the light. Super easy.
