Happy Hump day Jay and Jim! It's a Friday for me. Leaving after work tonight to head out to the Black Hills for our first trail riding trip of the year.
Have fun Troy.

Well the trip is starting off on the wrong foot. Had a deer decide it should run out of the ditch and slam in to the side of my pickup last night. Caved in the left rear door and put a small dent in the cab corner area and then emptied it's poop all down the box side.....so yeah. Need to inspect it more in the daylight today. I will get some pics.

Here is a couple pics from the deer. This was at a gas station not too long after it happened. Doesn't seem to be any other damage. Need to get it washed when we get home to make sure there is nothing else I can't see with the road grime on it.
Found more damage on my pickup. The front fender emblem is broken, small dent on drivers door and small dent on the box. Also my driver's mirror seems to be broken. I thought when the deer it the mirror was just folded in from the hit but it turns out some of the gears in there must broken. Mirror won't stay fully folded out. Wind pushes it in from driving.

Stupid deer, too impatient. You guys still do your atv trip? How was that part?

Good morning Jim! Yeah we still did the trip. Luckily the deer hit on the side didn't affect how the pickup drove so we just continued on our way. The trip was great! A little cool at times and wet out there so plenty of mud but we had a great time and put on about 350 miles or so riding.

A second or two sooner and that deer would have been a new emblem on the front. That's a good amount of miles on atv/sidebysides. Excellent you had a good time.
Good morning everyone! Suck about the deer Troy. I had that same thing happen a couple years ago just east of Hinckley when we were up there. Front fender, front door, and a **** streak.

Good morning Dave! Yeah it sucks but at least the truck is drivable and yours was too. Really gets bad when it takes out a radiator and whole front end.
