Splash Guards
I just installed the front wheel well splash guards, part numbers
Shld Asy YC3Z-16102BA
Shld Asy YC3Z-16103BA
They were simple to install and fill that open space where road grime and mud can splash into the engine compartment.
I found a Ford dealer that sold at a discount over the web, Atascadero Ford whose website is www.fordpartsonline.com. The gave a discounted price of $16.94 vs. list of $21.72 each. This sounded like a good deal, however, for UPS ground shipping from CA to AZ they added a $12.00 shipping fee. There is no way that UPS charges this for a small box that weights perhaps four pounds.
My gut feel says they just tacked the "discount" into the shipping fee, so I basically paid the same as if I walked into my local Ford dealer. The $12 shipping fee bumped the total bill up to $45.88. Now, if I use the list price and add in in local sales tax (which wasn't paid on an out of state purchase) I saved a whole $1.25 on this internet transaction.
So, beware of "internet deals" unless you find out what the shipping charge is in advance.

You are absolutely right, I just bought a new lower valance for my front bumper. A discount on the web was $28.95 with $25 shipping and handling. The local Ford dealership was $48 bucks out the door. Rather buy local than wait, or send my bucks to some unknown web site. Besides it ended up being cheaper localy. Doesn't always work this way but shop around and check prices, before paying shipping!
