Apple Carplay cutting out
I have a 2025 F350 platinum plus, I have had for less than a month. I connect my iPhone to apple car play using a usb c cord. Intermittently the audio will sound like a radio station that is slightly out of range, the music cuts in and out or seems somewhat garbled. Since the connection is hardwired, I don't think outside interference is an issue. I have a 21 f150 that I connect to carplay with the same way, so I don't think the phone is the problem. I have a new cord on the way but I don't think the cord is the issue as it has no issues with charging or carplay starting up as soon as it is connected. I'm thinking possibly a bad usb C port in the truck, as fm radio seems to be fine. Has anyone dealt with anything similar?

I know you've probably already done this but make sure you phone's OS and the truck's OS is up to date with the latest software. Apple just released an update, maybe 2-3 weeks ago, that address some CarPlay connectivity. The Ford sync system needs to be current too. Other than that, I don't have any other recommendations. I have two known spots on the interstate where I know I'm going to lose my connection and the system resets and reconnects. Both near major traffic areas, truck-stops, and interference is just unavoidable. That's my only gripe about the CarPlay connection right now. And I'm always connected wirelessly.
