2016 F150 XLT Crew Cab With Split Bench

Hello all. I have the crew cab with the split bench seat. Ford had decided that none of the power points in this cab would be constant power. They missed the mark on knowing how people use these trucks. My last one (1996 F150) didn't have these nanny protectors on it. I need at least one so I can charge my tool batteries while working. I looked through the manual to find that there are 4 fuses (89, 90, 91, and 92) in the fuse box. I can only find 3. 1 - right of center of the radio. 2 - one down a bit lower near the usb port. 3 - behind the 20% seat facing the rear seats. I have looked everywhere for the fourth one. It's not in the 20% seat base. Not in the box. Yet there is a fuse for a fourth one. Maybe it was for the center console option, which this truck has never had. If anyone else has come across this same issue, if you could let me know please. There is power going somewhere. But if it's not needed I'd like to pull the fuse.
Anyways, I found this tip on this site. I pulled the fuse for power point right of center on the dash. replaced it with a 20 amp jumper to an open power terminal in the bottom right corner of the fuse box. This is just to charge my batteries while on a job.

Thanks

I agree on the powered-off power points. I'd just as soon they all stay on like in the olden days, or maybe have one that follows the ignition switch.

Looks like you got it worked out, right?

I have not needed power yet with truck turned off. My only caution is and my guess is, all the various computers that keep these trucks running nowadays, I'd guess there is not much surplus in battery capacity leftover to use when truck is not charging the system. If I was to do this often, I likely would upgrade to a larger battery (and if you do that, make sure you update the battery profile in the computer system with a tool such as Forscan). Things just aren't like they were in the good ol days.

Yes. I was just taking the easy way out. I didn't feel like breaking out the laptop and getting hooked in. If this didn't work, Forscan was next.
