Voice recognition button
Voice recognition button
A few months ago I installed a Pioneer DMH3000NEX radio with aRP4-FD11 adaptor in my 2016 F250. Everything worked great until I just returned from a trip. Now the voice recognition button on steering wheel does not bring up Siri from my phone ,it just brings up a blue icon on screen, a speaker symbol followed by ATT. We unplugged RP4 adaptor to maybe reboot but no change. Voice button does not prompt for command only mute's radio. Any advice is welcome.
It’s difficult to say exactly what the issue is, could be a number of things, such as the PAC unit went bad, (which has been known to happen as they’re not the highest quality) to just needing to reprogram the steering wheel controls. I personally have the iDatalink Maestro interface in mine, which I feel are built better.
You program them via the RP4-FD11 interface, you can read how to do it here. https://pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/Im...541RP4FD11.PDF
