just found out. its a Warn winch made by Bellview
They weren't Ford built winches. The PTO winches were probably made by Ramsey Winches just like the same ones made for IH trucks and Scouts. A listing from an IH parts company showed one for $1600. I don't think many were sold because they were a PITA compared with an electric Warn.
Rich thanks for the info is there pics here of an installation and I'll try doing a search Id like to learn a bit more about them and ford trucks that came with them. Where did you find the IH parts listing ?
