Overheating
Have 06 explorer with the 4.6 that's overheating during highway speeds then cools off at idle. The motor has over 200k miles doesn't leak anything from with I can see it has been raining the last few days so hard to tell. It over heated 2 days ago and thought the thermostat was stuck so removed the thermostat and didn't put one back in rn short on time. Drive it today after 20 minutes I saw the gauge climb up then at a stop sign it went back down. Opened the hood and saw the upper radiator hose was collapsed but didn't see anything leaking out. I haven't done any compression test or anything yet just trying to get an idea of where to look first.
