With all the battery issues these trucks have, I started looking for a tester to buy for my garage.
So, I did like we all do and googled it.
I came across this article that highly recommended this tester and they gave a amazon link.
So, I clicked the link and amazon has this tester on sale for more than 50% off what other places are selling it for, and around here amazon says they will deliver next day.
Amazon has this right now for $21.42, free next day shipping on Prime, no idea how long this deal will last.
This thing tests everything on your battery, load, bad cell, voltage, alternator, etc, etc.
Should have mine by tomorrow afternoon, check the article link below. https://throttleholic.com/best-car-battery-tester/
I’ve got this exact one. Used it about a year now. Seems to work well. Just used it yesterday to test my AGM boat batteries. Also had a few random marine batteries around and used it to test if any were still good. One is so bad it doesn’t even put out enough voltage to power the unit on, even after I charged it.
Good find! Just picked one up myself. It'll come in very handy for checking all my maintenance equipment batteries (as well as automotive batteries, obviously).
Thank you, just ordered one. The basic code reader is had would test batteries, but gave that to the son-in-law when I ordered a nicer one that would work tcm codes, etc, but did not have the battery test option.
I bought one very similar a few yrs ago that was recommended by a friend. I really like it being it found a bad battery connection on my boat battery. I had tested it and the battery failed then I removed both battery connections tested the battery again and it passed. Tested again with connections in place it failed. I cleaned the connectors really well, scratched them up with wire brush, re-tested then everything passed. Also noticed the boat turned over a little faster.
As cheap as this one is today, everyone should grab one, price may not last long.
While supplies last, only a few left, hurry, everyone should do it! Oops after all those orders I just remembered silly me I forgot to mention I'm the affiliate and make money on all you guys 🙄.
