I am trying to find OEM seat fabric for my 2006. Does anyone know any source for these? I want to redo all 3 pieces. Driver and passenger seats as well as the jump seat with the console. I need the cover for the cupholders as well. I am on the hunt for this as well as a few other things like a factory brake controller with the proper master cylinders, and the upfitter switches if anyone knows of any sources for anything.
Marketplace. I searched for years, literally, looking for nice cloth seats for my 01. I finally found a set about an hour away from me that were in fantastic shape. Pulled the covers off, ran them through the washing machine and hung to dry. The only other option was crappy aftermarket covers or having a shop recover everything, but that is $$$$$
Have you thought about going the leather route? on my 06 Crew Cab my cloth upholstery was bad along with the drivers seat cushion bottom. I purchased a Katzkin leather kit to cover the front & rear seats and the jump seat for around $800.00. The foam bottom was around $125 if I remember correctly. Katzkin doesn't sell to individuals so I bought my set off a vendor on eBay. It's not difficult but time consuming. I bought 200 3/4" hog rings and a Decent pair of hog ring pliers for around $30.00. Took me a few days to do the front & rear seats but I also cleaned, lubed & painted the seat tracks etc. I also did it in the middle of summer when it was 100+ degrees out so I could really stretch the leather & work the wrinkles out.
I actually changed the factory ones to leather about 10 years or so ago but I was not very happy with how they came out. They are far from factory looking, and now I have a strange issue with wanting everything to be stock, or factory. I guess I could get some pictures of stock Ford leather and just match it as close as possible. I was hoping to find some old OEM stuff but it seems to be non existant.
i was going to suggest LMC Trucks. I have gotten a bunch of hard to find items from them, the only downside is the quality. Rarely do they have anything of OEM quality. But if you wanted close to stock look and new, it is an alternative.
As far as the upfitter switches and factory brake controller you can find those on ebay pretty regularly.
There's a guy semi local to me here that parts out trucks and has all kinds of goodies. I can give you his facebook info if you can't find anything on ebay. (I'm in Canada)
