I just ordered them yesterday so I haven't put my hands on them yet. From the reviews I've read I think they'll be top notch 👍🏻

I will look at Rudy’s stuff too.

I want to do both sides and 4” to 5” exhaust. Since I have to muffler this thing way down that will help.

I get a little bog/smoke down low with this tune but it makes good power, just enough not to blow the trans out.
lol its kinda amusing when you realize the exact way to hit the throttle to make it bog and puff out a little smoke. First time I did it, I thought i blew the truck up cause the sunrise was in my mirror so it made the smoke look way off colored. like blue.

I was just going to post the below as a suggestion for cold side and noticed you have the HSM set in that link.

I think I am going to order both sides from hs today. The silicon set up.

I was originally thinking keep the other untorn factory hose but probably a good idea to do both and just get it out of the way.

The reason I chose the S&B units is because 99% of the stock hoses that fail seem to be in the exact same spot. On this same location on the S&B it is aluminum and then silicone hose. Where the factory hoses are bursting is where most of the boost temps are hitting the rubber on the inside of this bend (same reason the hot side pipe is metal, high temps). My factory hose blew out at 74k miles and have 85k on it now. real happy with it too.

I pulled the trigger on the silicon cold side kit. The hot side is stainless.

Hope to get 10 year out of it. Probably will just keep this truck as its in good shape.

Parts arrived.

Anything I should clean while I am in there? Exhaust lighted up around 50k miles, has 73 on it now.

Plan to knock this out today.

Do you need to pull the intake for the hot side? Ran out of time but got the cold side on. Noticed in the instructions it said to really clean the connection at the intercooler well. Well I didn’t do that, hope it doesn’t blow off.
