emergency braking? Parking brake system

Okay what is it called and how does it work! for my 1959 F350 something connects to the engine for parking brake? Mine is missing, whats it look like and were can I get one?

It's the mechanism that come up thru the floor next to the transmission!

I can't find a pic of it but it consists of a drum mounted to the rear of the tranny with a band that tightens up on it when the lever is moved.

I have been trying to upload a photo of the complete band brake but am getting a message "unable to upload because of low memory." I thought that was my problem.

There is a different rear housing on the T98 to accommodate the drum brake. If someone swapped your transmission it might explain why the brake is missing.

Thanks for the picture, I do have the drum thing on the rear of the tranny, but no arm/handle that I guess attaches and comes up thru the floor board!
