replacement engine for 1994
Hi -
I was curious about engine year and compatibility. I have a 1994.5 PSD, and was wondering if I can use a PSD out of a 2001. If so, do I need to change anything over, or is it a simple swap?

there are issues with the electrical system, but if you get the whole wiring harness from the 01 with all the other sensors, computers, etc, it might work. i've heard there are a few things that have been moved around in the new style, like the a/c condensor. i could be wrong. the intercooler shouldn't be much of a problem, a bunch of guys are retrofitting a 99+ IC into their 94-97s i would look for a low milage 94-97 engine to put in, it would be easier. hope that helps
