My truck now pulls to the left side, and to keep the wheels strait, the steering wheel is slanted heavily to the right. The only thing that I can think of that caused it would be after hitting a pile of leaves it pulled haaard to the right then it i jerked it and it went away. My question is what causes alignment problems, should I stop hitting speed bumps too fast?
This is the first time it's happened, the good thing is I can get a good deal because I know someone who has an alignment shop, I just don't want this to happen more than once..
A while back my F250 4X4 had similar problems,
This is extreme, but, the bracket that holds up one the
suspension arms came loose.
The PO or someone did not put 2 bolts in that go parallel
with the body and one of the other 2 did not have a nut.
The last bolt finally gave way!
Billrigsby, that must be fairly common because I was checking out my truck after I first bought it and that bracket was loose on mine too. 90 F250, 4x4.
WHAT DOES THIS BRACKET CONECT TO IM GOING TO CHECK OUT MINE. DRIVERS SIDE TIRE LOOKS SLANTED IN ON THE TOP HAD THE FRONT END CHECKED BUT ALL IS ALL RIGHT. MAYBE THIS IS MY PROBLEM..
Any update on this? My truck has the same sympotoms of yours, but mine pulls to the right. I also have a bit of negative camber at times, the front wheels are kind of like this: / \

It's gonna be in the shop Friday, I'll post an update after I get it back.
If I remember right it was about $275 including alignment. I didnt shop around. The shop that did the work is close to my office and has a good reputation.
