So I recently installed a new clutch kit and the brand new throw out bearing makes noise when the clutch is engaged but not when you depress the pedal, I reused the old fork and master cylinder so before I go tearing the trans out again are there any problems I should look for that may or may not fix it. And before you ask yes the throw out bearing is in the right way and yes I greased it.
I was thinking that but it’s a little aggressive for gear rollover unless the clutch that came out of it which had all the springs loose was hiding it from me, I’ve driven it from Ny to Texas and Tennessee before I did this and it was never quite so noisy, however it did make a lot of noise in reverse prior to changing the clutch and now it’s really quiet so idk.
Good fluid in trans? Some people over fill and say it helps with the noise. As a inherently unlucky person I see It like winning the lotto that my rollover noise is very little. I think its different noises for different trans/clutch setups. I am also not near a mechanic so if you were to 100% ignore everything I said or say in the future, your life my be better for it.
