Teemonroe introduction

First time posting on this site or any other. Just turned 50 and learning in my later years the fun of working on my own toys. Was a knucklehead in my younger years and never got the bug to wrench on things. Have always enjoyed going fast but have always paid others to do the work. Have had decent luck with high quality workmen but they seem to be dying off and folks aren’t very trustworthy these days. So here I am. I purchased a junk 1991 F150 trying to bring it back to life.

First time reply here. I trust I am writing it in the correct spot. As I mentioned, I got a 1991 f150. It has a 5.8 and an E4OD. I have pulled the engine out and have had it machined for a rebuild. It turns out it had an 89 block in it and we machined it 30 over. Stock heads rebuilt, crank machined. I’ve got a

COMP Cams 35-255-5 and getting ready to assemble it. Have thought about other options but after reading a lot on here it seems the best best is to keep it mild with SD, stock computer, stock EFI, and a free flowing exhaust
