my wife and I and another couple went to Fort Myers Thursday and got back yesterday afternoon. Was hot, high 80's but was always a nice breeze/wind off the gulf of America

I'm still in awe that you can still see how much destruction hurricane Ian did to the area. Lots of still empty lots and new construction to rebuild these areas. Many lots and places for sale down there, not that they are affordable

We were actually in Ft Myers about 6 weeks ago. Was just a quick last minute weekend trip we got invited on. It was crazy to still see all the devastation still from the hurricane. It was crazy.

I can't really imagine what it looked like right after the hurricane or to loose everything.

Well today has been a beach day so far and then this afternoon we are headed to an aquarium place. Then probably back to the vrbo we are in and hang out in the pool.

That sounds like fun. 1 beach day is about my limit, especially when on the verge of sunburn.

Evening guys! We went and saw the Blue Angels perform today. Technically it's just a practice for them but still an hour long show. It was awesome! Never seen them before.
