4R100 transmission
I have an2003 ford F53 chassis motor home and the fluid come out of the dipstick when I had just started the RV and moved to remove my leveling blocks. I don't think it was very hot. I have had the RV for 5 years and never had a problem and have not changed out the fluid or had to add any after checking over the years. It has 48k miles. I found out the vent tube was clogged so after fixing that, I tried blowing through the tube end to see if the hose was unclogged. I could blow air into the tube but it pressurized and came right back. So I removed the fitting on top of the case and thought it was clogged but it wasn't. My question: Does the tranny only bleed air out under pressure or should you be able to blow air into the case?
Thanks
