Ford 534/477/401

Anyone know which engine this is. I can’t find any tags or the block stamp

Can't tell.

'76 was the last year of the 401, but the carb tag indicates a '69 revision and the heads have a 1970 revison, (D0TE) so it's older than '76 and could be any of them.

Looks like it's in a C series. Is there still a warranty card on the cab door? That's always a long shot as the engine could have been replaced.

These are hard to find parts for.

Vin indicates 292 y block as it’s a 61 c600. Someone Definitely swapped the engine. Where is the casting number on these blocks. I ve searched all over and can’t seem to find it

Does the truck have 6 lug wheels?

Engine swap to that thing would be a chore.

Door swap without changing the warranty tag...pretty easy.

have some one turn the engine over by hand ,and use a long zip tie to measure the stroke the piston travels .then you know what crank you have

mix of parts going by those casting numbers , B9 or 59 , C3 or 63, D0 or 70. please try to find a block number which may possibly be hidden by the starter

I’ll check the stroke with a zip tie. Also trying to identify this transmission. I need the clutch/flywheel cover piece as it is missing

Transmission is possibly/likely a Spicer 6352,

6352 is listed as Dana (Spicer) in the '64-'72 MPC as 6352, 6352A and 6352B, all 5 speed direct.
