Engine oil preluber

Dc motor driven oil pump…runs at key on…shuts off once mechanical pump kicks in…check valve prevents reverse motoring.

Here’s a version that doesn’t use a dc motor…it uses an accumulator instead.

we had some like those in a few boats, not same brand...but same principle

Accumulator recharges after start
Then provides oil under low pressure or switched to push oil on start up
Havent seen one in awhile

I have used the accumulator style on a few race engines, they work great, but are easy to forget the manual of arms so to speak and leave them uncharged.

I look forward to seeing what your research turns up on the electrical pump system. It is something I have thought about looking into.

Could this work?

Welcome to Preoil.com

I thought about this for Lincoln but I never thought about this for the 6.7L.

That's an accumulator style. With a solenoid. I ran a manual valve on the ones I used in the past. And yes it will work depending on the volume of oil it stores.
