I wudda if I cudda, but when you're old it's tough to stay up that late anymore. As it is, when I had to do my old man thing at 1:30 this morning, most if it was already past. Only about a third of the moon was left shadowed. Totality was scheduled for midnight here with best viewing from 11:30p to 12:30a. Still, it's a pretty cool thing to see.
I photographed the first half, but the camera battery died. It was the first time I'd used this camera for night sky photography and wasn't used to it, so the images are not as clear as I would like.
I should have experimented more beforehand or went with my older camera.
