Three-on-the-tree rebuild
Good afternoon everyone, I’ve been looking around, but didn’t see a good thread about rebuilding a column shift three speed. Is there such a thing? I got a 1979 F100. Straight six, 300Ci, Three on the tree, but it’s sloppy. Just need to tighten it up.

3 on the tree parts manual page. But it is for mostly the top part of the steering column and not the steering column to shift rod area. Have you checked the connection points bushings?
