Went ahead & pulled the trigger on a 2025 F350 Lariat Tremor. Went with Agate black, black interior, Godzilla V8, 430 rear end gears. Has the Lariat Ultimate package. Came in under $80,000. If prices hold. I'm trading in my 2021 F350 Super Duty Diesel XLT. One of those that has the rear end welded. Any way ordered it through a small dealer here in the 4 Corners area.
How long do you all think I am looking at to see the truck arrive. I'm guessing late June-July?
Also is there anything that any of you think that I missed?
Thought about ordering the Bronze Metallic paint, but I haven't seen that color on a truck yet. Guess if I see one soon I could switch the color. Maybe
Cheers & Thanks,
Russ
Thanks for the pictures. I definitely like that color. I like the dark in it.
I'll go down to the local dealer & see if I can see that color on a actual vehicle.
For now I'm sticking with the black.
Thanks again
This is still one of Fords best colors. Deep and rich. If my 2019 F450 was the same color and interior as this 2018 Platinum was, I would have kept it, but Agate black is so bleh.

Not to burst your bubble, but my F350 Lariat goes into production “the week of 3/31” which puts the production date 5 1/2 months post order. Dealer expects I will see it early May if it does not get bumped. Seeing that happen in some of the other forums. A lot comes into play though: what you ordered, dealer coding in terms of priority, dealer allocation, commodity issues. The list goes on. Have a Ouji Board? Just stay on top of the dealer as you won’t get much info out of Ford until actual production. Good luck.
Wow, that's quite a wait for a truck. But, that being said. There are 4-5 smaller dealer around where I live that are hooked together that will trade vehicles if there is something on their lot that you want. My salesman will keep watching the Super Duty's that are coming in now. I can switch & take that one & they would just sell the one that I ordered. IF I see one coming to replace it with. If not, I will just have to wait it out. And hope that Charles in charge doesn't cause the price to be jacked up with his little games that he plays every day. Even the dealer said he didn't know what would happen on that front. Lets hope that prices stabilize at least for the next year. If not, the automotive people are going to get hit really hard, according to Jim Farley the CEO from Ford. Hopefully my truck price is locked in when I ordered it.
Ordered my Race Red F350 Lariat, 6.7, Ultimate and few other options on 1/28/2025. Received order confirmation from Ford that evening and build schedule from Ford on 1/30.
Build date week of 3/10 and is now in production. The dealer has not commented on delivery date hoping by the end of March. Maybe wishful thinking we'll see!!
Wow! That's pretty quick. Good luck to you! I hope that it happens for you this soon.
Maybe the assembly line is moving faster these days. When you get it I hope that it comes out of the factory trouble free.
Hopefully I will have the same schedule & luck that you do.
Miracles can happen and may you will be lucky. I have seen success stories like 77Bronco and sad stories that are longer than mine. I have the 5th wheel prep which could have been (probably was) my issue, and based on recent posts it seems like they are finally moving trucks out the door. So keep the faith and again, best of luck,

I have my fingers crossed for you.
See, I am having options remorse because I didn't add the 5th wheel package. My truck will be here in a week or so, but if ever I decide to be a 5-er, I will have to figure out how to make that happen.
Not a problem. The fifth wheel prep is a frame underneath with pre established “pucks” in the bed, holes that a special hitch base fits into (which you can cap). It also includes the 7 pin plug in the bed. Both can be added. The only difference is without the Ford set up you end up having to install a regular hitch with low rails in the bed to attach the hitch to where the puck system is flat when no hitch installed. Prior to my current 2018 my son and I installed everything in my and his trucks in a few hours. Also, RV dealers will do it if you buy the hitch from them. And your truck will handle a fiver with ease unless it’s a beast. With a 250 you might have to add an extra leaf if the pin weight is heavy unless you have an overload spring already. Again, a simple clamp on install and not very expensive. You’ll be good.

Ok, makes sense. So, other than the cost savings of having it done from the factory, the bed will not have any brackets on the floor of the bed when not using it.
I do have the upgraded rear axle which gave it 11,100 GVWR so at least there's that.
I have no plans to go 5th wheel, but for next time I order I will definitely get it for just incase reasons.

Actually you DON'T have to go with a system that has rails in the bed OR install the OEM system. There are several under-bed options, I believe Reese makes one, arguably the best on the market is the B&W Turnover Ball system with the Companion fifth wheel hitch. It is also easier to install after the fact than the Ford OEM system (bed doesn't have to come off as Ford claims you have to do for theirs). If you decide you go fifth wheel and DON'T have the prep package, it's probably the best option for the cost.
The plug in the box is pretty easy and straight-forward to install, and regardless of what you go with, I would recommend.

Excellent news, thank you. I will definitely look into the B&W if/when I decide to go that route.
