2014 f250 6.2 Sony (stock) head unit

I just bought this truck and don't have a lot of info
I have the compass in the upper right corner of the screen, and a SD card slot in the flip up dash piece. IF I were to get a SD map card would nav work, or did some not come with it from the factory?

I don’t believe the 2014’s came with maps on a SD card, but I could be wrong. I believe the SD slot is for palying music files. Have you read your owners manual ? If you don’t have one, you can find it here. https://www.ford.com/support/vehicle...owner-manuals/ I also believe some trucks come with a Nav system, and some don’t.

 

Thanks, owner's manual gave me all the options. I was guessing that it did not have it, but fingers were crossed that it did. I saw some videos about how to do it, maybe one day when I'm bored
