Your IAC is a solenoid valve
They do get stuck
Did you disconnect it, and the van falls on it's face? (meaning Idles at 550)?
That's generally the first test
Disconnect it and see if the idle changes (it should drop)
Code, year of van and engine trans combo is what we need to really help
