2nd gear gap or jerk

My car is a 2014 Ford F-150, 8-cylinder, with 134,000 km on the odometer. The transmission shifts perfectly, thank God, but I noticed an issue when driving in second gear. When I suddenly press the gas pedal, I feel a small gap or hesitation, and then I feel like something inside the vehicle hits or jerks. Also, when I suddenly lift my foot off the gas pedal, I feel a gap again. This only happens in second gear, and all other gear shifts are fine. Please help

1st thing I'd want to do is scan the system for any stored codes. Some of those year models have a recall on the transmission where they reprogram it. Could just need the latest calibration for the PCM.
