Post Good news

Did any of you men/women here about the Oklahoma killer that was on the run? Here's the scoop on the story mentioned:

(this story will be a little bit off I'm sure)

Basically, a man from Oklahoma at one point went to California for something. (can't remember what) When he was there he met a lady and they got close. Well, the man was just visiting for a short while and had to go back home. He went back home for a while and returned the woman. He basically had the 'hots' for her for lack of a better word. Well, she didn't have the 'hots' for him so she kicked him out of her house.

A few days later this guy sneakes into this girl's neighbor's house and killed the neighbors that had nothing to do with any of this. He killed them just so he could watch her come and go from day to day. Well, one day her 16 year old relative came in and found the girl's grandmother dead on the floor. He ran out the door and got in his truck, but before he could drive off, the killer jumped in the back of the truck and started shooting the back window with his shotgun. The 16 year old kid crashed into a football field where a live game was going on. The man ran out and hid in a straw field. Over 300 people surrounded the field to search for him. They searched for 2 days and found nothing.

Basically, at one point or another there was a gap in the field and the killer escaped. He went into a homeless shelter and hid in the attic. When the cook/manager was gone he would go down and get food and water for himself and then go back up and hide again. Well, a couple days later the cook found him looking in the fridge and she ran out, but she left her keys behind. He took her keys and stole her car which had almost no gas. When the car broke down, he got into another girl's car and stole it while kidnapping her.

Eventually, they came up to a gas station because her car was out of gas. Along came a doctor and his wife to get gas also. (here's where I kinda forget which part happens) Basically, the doctor in the end gets the gun and shoots the guy in the right shoulder. From there a fight breaks out and the guy pistol whips the kidnapped girl and was going to kill her, but at that moment the sheriff's pull up and shoot him 3 more times on the upper right portion of his chest. He was down. (the reason the dr. didn't continue shooting him was because the gun was out of bullets)

They arrested him and put him in the hospital. The only major injury he got was a slightly punctured lung. From there he was transported to the Angelina County Sheriff's Department and put in jail. I couldn't believe it when I heard it all. That's my county, and I work in the courthouse there. Basically, I would be the one to swear him in before the trial. Well, I went up because I wanted to see him for myself. As soon as I went up to see him, he walked out and was standing no more that 2 feet from me staring me straight in the eyes...

Then a camera flashed and the local news crew was there filming him. I was on the 6 o'clock news in front of this killer in our courthouse. HOW WEIRD IS THAT!!???!?

Anyways, they are going to extradite him back to Oklahoma where he will have his trial. Either way, he will get life in prison or the death penalty.

Just thought I'd let you who were interested know what happened with the whole thing. (sorry for the length)

Hey fisher,

How's your fantasy football team doing?

I'm in a dogfight to make the playoffs. 2 games separate 1 from 4 in my division, I'm tied for second. Unfortunately, only first place moves on.

Pennington has been my saviour. Edge has turned it on, Shipp played well, McCardell has been steady, Jeff Wilkins is a machine, and I got one lucky game out of Doug Johnson.

My 6 game win streak came to a screeching halt last week though.

4 games left, and they are all must wins. 2 intradivision, one against the #1 team in the pool, and one against a .500 club.

I'll be glued to the set this weekend.

Go Colt, Cards, Panthers, Browns, Bucs, Broncos, Texans and Jets.

BOOO everyone else.

yeah tell me about it...I made it all the way to 4th place...the top 4 go in our league (head to head) during the last two weeks of the season. I almost passed out wondering if McNair was gonna play last monday....and then when he threw the 2 intereceptions that all but sealed the deal. I probably scored the most points I have all year and still lost by 15. I've got two games left to get back in, but the top 5-6 are all very close...just a game or two seperating us all...and this week I play the first place team. I lucked out about 6 weeks ago picking up Domnick Davis from Houston right before his first start and he has been nothing but GREAT!!!! So hopefully with him and L. Tomlinson, McNair, and my great receivers I can make it...its gonna be a matter of points each game.

Sounds like you've got a pretty good chance of making down the stretch.

Davis is a stud. Hard to believe he's a rookie.

I've got him in my other pool and between him, Portis, Pennington and Kitna all having stellar weeks I knocked off the first place team in round one of that pool's playoffs.

Davis is questionable this week, and I also have Ricky Williams, so I'm pulling my hair out on that decision.

OH THE STRESS.

hey thanks...you too....and I wouldn't worry about Davis...he'll play and against jacksonville too I'd take that matchup over Williams verses the strong New England defense. I'll check back with you on monday to see how ya did.

ya true...me too.....but it kinda followed the football part
