Hi I got stalled in the on ramp
the engine starts and runs good on idle and excelerates fine but when i put it in gear and step on the excelerator the engine quits what could be wrong?
Currently Ford has built in the neighborhood of 4,000,000 trucks out there.
These trucks have many engine and transmission combinations.
These trucks have had many modifications done to them,
These trucks have many different colors.
I do know that the sky is not blue because that is the color of all the gasses that make the atmosphere.
I do know that water is usually wet.
I do not know anything about your truck, your trouble shooting, or skill to work on it.
But, I do know that without any information about your truck, nobody can assist you.

You are very kind, in my distress i forgot the most important info how stupid of me.
I have a 2004 E 350 super duty Ford gas engine
I don't know the engine type or size if you direct me I will look it up
Thank you 😊
Sticker under hood should state engine size or look at the VINhttps://www.autozone.com/vin-decoder
Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key on? Does it go off after the truck starts? Has it come on at all while the truck is running? Has any work been performed recently?

the CEL comes on and off ones every 2 months the codes are PO420 the CEL do not go off after start.
no work has bean done
One thing that is interesting is when I put in gear with idle rpm the truck moves and when unloaded from tow truck I was eble to maneuver in parking space.
Figure out what engine. A scan of the computer system, code reading and live data would be a good starting point. Next would be a fuel pressure test. Miles on the truck?

miles 190.000 the code is always there but the CEL is not on no more then a week at the time
It's pretty obvious that one or more of your catalytic convertors (catalyst) is/are plugged. Start the truck, have an assistant rev the engine. you should feel strong exhaust flow at the pipe. If not, (and I'm guessing you won't) that is your issue.

OK she blows pretty strong so given that changing the sensor will help any?
I have changed catalytic converter and sensors but the problem still is thesame nothing improved.
the old catalytic converter is very clean so installer new and the problem persist it idles but quits right after
Let's start from the beginning. You posted about the truck not running right but didn't mention the check engine light. Then you say the check engine light has been coming on for months.
At this point I believe you have more than one problem and no diagnosing of any of them. A plugged catalytic converter can easily be diagnosed with a simple low pressure gauge and drilling a small hole in the pipe before the converter and measuring back pressure. Interesting that you stated that the catalyst looked like it had been changed once before, a lot of people guessing. it sounds like the code stored has been chased after before and doesn't directly relate to your performance problem.
How did you get the truck to a shop to replace the catalyst? Is it still not running good? I would start with the very basics of making an engine run, easiest to check is fuel. Check fuel quantity and pressure, a real pressure test with a gauge not pushing on the valve and seeing a little fuel squirt. When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?
