locked up right rear?

I have an '86 F-250 XL 4x4 Diesel with automatic transmission. It sat for about three years without being driven. It started right up on Sunday after replacing the batteries but it won't move. It seems like the right rear wheel is locked up. Any idea(s) what might be the cause?

Like fordnut 71 said, shoes could be rusted to drum, this was a big problem on older trucks and cars because the brake pedal arm would sag against the master cyl. of its own weight pushing out the shoes to make contact w/drum.

If the emergency brake was left on, one or both of the cables could be frozen. Take the drums off and have a look.

it would be a good time to rebuild those back brakes with new wheel cylinders and maybe shoes if they are falling apart or worn

Great. Thanks for all the help. Looks like I will be doing the back brakes this weekend.
