Motorcraft Ignition Coil With Boot for 2019 Ford E-Series, Stripped - DG571

It is essentially an E-Series Cutaway (an Econoline cab cut away at the B pillar with an open back)... stripped of even the cutaway cab, leaving just a bare chassis of frame, drivetrain, and small instrumentation cluster, for use as a platform to build lighter duty step vans, parcel vans, walk in vans, and specialty vehicles.
The platform codes of an E-Series stripped chassis are E3K and E4K. These platform codes are used by Ford in the ordering systems, as well as in the VIN.
For example, my FTE username has a platform code of W57, where the W designates Crew Cab F-Series, the 5 designates Class 5 for F-550, and the 7 indicates 4 wheel drive. A current model year code equivalent is W5H (H replaced 7).
I mention my own vehicle's model code as a Class 5 weight class vehicle, because when most people think of Ford stripped chassis models, they think of the F-53 for Class A Motorhomes, and the F-59 for UPS and FedEx type parcel delivery walk in vans, such as those completed by Ultilimaster, Morgan Olsen, and the like. The F-53 and F-59 are both Class 5 (and Class 6) stripped chassis models, ranging from 16,500 lbs GVWR to 22,000 lbs GVWR (roughly speaking... exact GVWRS offered differ by model year).
However, Ford also offers lighter duty stripped chassis models, based on the E-Series RV Cutaway platform, without the Cutaway cab. The GVWRs for these stripped chassis models range from 11,500 lbs (E3K) to 14,500 lbs (with 6.8L V10), but for models equipped with the optional 6.2L gas engine in 2019, the highest GVWR is limited to 14,000 lbs. (E4K).
