Evening from SW FLA

Wanted to do the "new guy" thing and post up in here. Name is Shea. 53, disabled veteran, etc etc. More kids than I wanna admit to. Wife and I purchased an 05 F-350 dually with the 6.0 as a package along with the 2014 Heartland Gateway 5th wheel RV we live in. So far the truck has performed flawlessly. Other than the fuel sending unit in the tank taking a dump. But that is a war for another day.

I have about 400000 questions, but the main one I am wanting to ask is LEDs. I want to start converting some of the lights over. But, I can't get a straight answer on if it's safe or not. Some say it will blow up my alternators (I have 2), others the ECU, some say it's ok, some say only certain ones. I would LOVE to get just one proper answer. So if anyone has it? By all means, please sent it foward.

Probably a good question for the 1999 - 2016 Super Duty forum.

Welcome aboard!
