When I turn on my heater steam comes out of the vents and it smells like antifreeze. Does that mean that my heater core is leaking or could that be caused by aleak somewhere else?

Hi,
The first thing to be checked is the input and output hose which are connected to your heater core. Maybe there is only a bad hose.
yup that's a leak....i am dealing with it right now. get the parts from napa but get the expensive one. the calue line sucks. check out my post titled "3rd heater core gone bad"
