Front turn indicator not working

Front turn indicator not working

Hello,

I have a 1993 3.0L V6 Ranger reg cab, my front right turn signal does not flash, though the light itself is still on, and the rear indicator is working as well as the dash indicator. Any suggestions?

With no other lights on, does the bulb light but its not flashing?

Yes, the bulb is on when no other lights are on, the flashing indicator doesnt work when the lights are not on either.

I would start by testing the multi function and headlight switch and inspecting the electrical connectors.

Thanks for the help Ken,

A friend of mine told me it could be a relay as well, any thoughts on this?

mine were acting funny, like it would blink a couplle of times then just stay on, so i replaced the relay for around 5 bucks and problem solved, its worth a shot, if its not the right thing then its just good preventative maintainence, good luck
