Saying hello
Name is Dionysios, from Huntington station in New York.
I purchased a 2004 E-250 from an original owner , meaning that he had bought it brand new back then, he even provided me with the sales invoice!
So that makes me the second owner.
Truck had been driven by workers , he had a sprinkler business, truck had about 176.000 original miles, now it has over 186.000, I drive on the highway a lot to work back and forth.
Anyway, truck was always very well maintained, even has a rebuild transmission, but has some issues which I'm trying to solve myself and that's the reason I joined this forum.
Hope I can get some help and who knows? I might be able to help someone, I was able to fix the problem with the air vents, so maybe I can help someone who has same problem.

Wow, 176,000 miles and 21 years of fleet use! Pretty great that it still runs at all!

I have the window sticker right infant of me (previous owner was very organized and kept everything in a folder).
It is a 4.6 EFI V8 with and ELECTRONIC AUTO O/D TRANS
Truck had many repairs over the years and regularly maintenance, it was sold on 12/20/04 for $23,590.72 only!!!
Wishing we could buy something similar at this price nowadays.

I actually didn't know they were putting 4.6's in E-250s until around 15 years ago when my windshield guy backed his loaded E-250 over an island in a supermarket parking lot to get in a convenient position to replace my windshield. I asked, and I didn't believe him when he told answered. I looked for myself and voila' there it was. His had around 300,000 miles on it and he had it since before 100,000 miles, and it made no unbecoming noises.
