fried headlight plugs

fried headlight plugs

Both my grounds in my headlight plugs are burnt and the plug is crumbling away. Anyone else had a problem with this? I'm the second owner so it may be that someone had some big bulbs in it at one time and over heated the plugs. Just thought Id check if anyone else had this problem, or thought on what caused it.

Had it on my 97 F-150. loose connecter and I use the super beams alot. Pulling back on the hi-low lever and running it there to long. New connecters and tape did the trick.
