1964 4 link set up
As I have searched and searched to find some info / type used for a 4 link set up for my '64.
I have the CV front IFS installed and using a 2002 CV rear. I did a flip rear axel to drop it but it dropped it at about level with the front but with the long bed, I would like a bit more height out of the rear. Also, the truck, well, rides like a truck from the rear and I would like to go to some type of 4 link set up with coil overs. There is a LOT of information one the web and again tried to find something on here as well, maybe my age. lol. I would like to get some thoughts as to someone else experience or suggestions on this. A lot of sellers say it will fit a '64, again would some input.
4 link with pan hard bar?
Watts set up?
Triangular 4 link? Not sure I want that for it takes up a bit of room for exhaust.?
I was going to put a S550 IRS in it but the IRS is wide and had issues with the first 2008 CV rear I had, and well, would end up having to possibly do some fab to the fender wells, NOT! or buy new wheels with a such an offset I didn't think I would like it other than the ride out of it. The pic shows the CV wheels, however I am running a set of 2005 ish Mach 1 wheels now.
I am running an Outcast Autoworks 4 link and am very happy with it. I actually removed another one for this one. This is a parallel 4 link with panhard bar and Viking coilovers all the way around. Rides and drives great. We have another truck that is CV swapped and its on stock struts in the front and an axle over in the back. Rides great, but not as good as my truck on coilovers. Welder series has a nice kit, but is universal and would be a little more tedious to install.

OK, yea I looked up the Outcast stuff and it looks pretty straight forward as to mounting. I have been wondering as to the cost and I see all these other 4-link set ups for half the price, but I can justify by the material used in the Outcast compared to these $400-$500 kits. ? Welder series seems more reasonable, have not had time to compare the product.
Thanks again and anyone else have any experience with purchasing and installing a 4-link please comment, specially on a 64 long bed.
Appreciated!
Hammy
