Impco conversion stuck at 45mph

Pretty much the title. 85 f150 I6 4x4 T19 will fure right up and pulls off great. Once you hit 45 its like you have hit a wall. I know NOTHING about propane engines/mixers but am willing to learn if someone can just tell me where to look. There are no propane mechanics in the area so if I have to do a rebuild kit on the conversion I will.

old thread i know that had no answer or post of the final outcome.
many propane conversions are found on industrial base engines , as when a motor is used in a stationary use like a pump or generator.use a rpm governor ,the governor is in the carb base,that may be the problem you feel ,

Interestingly enough, she is getting flatbedded tomorrow to a propane mechanic because I tried several times to fix this to no avail. Im hoping they dont mind teaching me something after bleeding me dry. Ill let you know if youre still intersted. I really appreciate the reply and ill be back!
