I have a 2006 F150 4.6 Liter truck with 270000 miles on it. When I come to a stop the motor is dying out sometimes. for example, I come up to stop sign and it will just die. I just had new plugs put in it last week. It doesn't die all the time just randomly. Any help would be appreciated thanks
i have had similar problems with my 04 5.4 3v and in the past the idle air control valve is one thing to check, also check your fuel pressure with a scanner and if there are no codes then check your maf it could be dirty or it could be the fuel pressure regulator and then of course check your truck for vacuum leaks on the intake or with the purge valve? coukd be getting to much evap and when you are still it's not suoposed to draw vacuum only when the truck is in motion and if its still drawing vacuum meaning always open the truck coukd be sucking in to much vapor even fuel and choking it out so to say
