White smoke

I took notice this morning that my truck was blowing white smoke after I first started it. It was about 21F this moring and I had the block heater plugged in for 30 minutes. I started her and let it run for about 3 minutes. When I got in to leave she was at high idle like she should be but the smoke was white. Is this normal? Should I let her idle more or less? Once I drove up the street the smoke was gone.

Happens to me here in texas, that is in the winter. i think its normal.

It is quite normal for the truck to blow white smoke for a while, in cold weather. Both of mine have done it since new..

Dont worry, this is normal now that winter is here. The cause is unburnt fuel and condensation. My truck is doing the same thing now that the temps dropped.
