Trans knocking
I have an 86 ranger 4X4 with a 5 speed mistsibishi trans. It has developed a knock. But the truck still moves. The knock doesnt have any particular rythem to it it just is kind of there. A while back I replaced the input and output shaft bearings as well as the fifth gear assymbly and the bearing that goes with it. twenty thousand miles ago the clutch as well as the pilot bearing and the throw out bearing were also replaced. It makes the noise in and out of gear. Any suggeastions would be appriciated, Thanks, Roy
