Temporary Fix

I currently have a 400 with 75,000 miles in my rig now, but have plans to rebuild and install a 429 sometime in the near future. In the meantime I am considering putting an Edelbrock Intake and Carb on my 400 to help it out some. Can I get away with putting the 750 Carb I want to use for my 429 on my 400 and reuse it later, or will this be a problem? I am sure I already know the answer, but I thought I would ask anyway.

It will work but performance and fuel mileage will be somewhat less than optimal.

I have a 3310s on my 351M. I had to go down one size on the jets. my 351 is a little warmed up.
