Well, I sold my 1969 Chevelle SS396 that I'd owned for nearly 20 years this past weekend, so will no longer be participating at the chevelle forum, so although not very active at all, I figured I should join a forum for my 1976 Ford F-250 Hiboy that I bought on eBay about 15 years ago because it was the same color as my Chevelle. I've always enjoyed driving it more than the car and have been offered almost triple what I paid for it and turned it down. This will be a good place to go to with the best place for parts and maybe some cool additions.
The truck's biggest issue is the plastic saddle tanks installed in front of the rear tires aftermarket during a restoration. Both are actually too big for the space and the one on the right is cracked and unusable; the one on the left is cracked at the neck, so leaks a little gas when being filled. I'm guessing I will have to get special aluminum tanks made, if I'm ever to have two tanks again. It's been an awesome truck, but I hardly ever drive it due to gas prices. Attaching a picture of the truck from when we lived in Alaska.
welcome to the site from a mod,and a another former chevy BB owner, 70 chevelle SS 454 LS6 4 spd, i had since brand new sold it back in oct along with a 64 vette coupe 327/250 4 spd

Nice truck!
Do you use the bed a lot? An option would be to install a tank in the bed . . . ?
