After having a wireless OBDLink MX adapter for several years I guess the technology became outmoded and it would no longer connect to the computer.
I then bought a corded OBDLink EX and it works well. I've never been a regular FORScan user. I go in, make some changes and then I'm good for quite a long time. So all I've ever done are the 2 month temporary free licenses. It's never been a problem renewing them to use again. But of course this was before the FORScan people had trouble with certain payment methods and began to not issue licenses. I have no idea if we can still obtain and renew the temp licenses anymore. Maybe someone with more recent experience can help, It's been about a year since I've used it.
I'm using this one. Works great. No issues communicating with my computer or the truck. I've been using Forscan for a couple of years and always used the free temporary license. Last year I figured I should probably support the folks that make this all possible, so I bought a one year license for $20. I've certainly gotten my money's worth over the years.

Thanks for that link. That's the one I have. I'll correct my mistaken previous post!
