2011 f250

Hey guys I’m looking at a 2011 f250 6.2 4 door short bed 4x4 xlt with 67000 miles. The truck has been in Canada and Utah. Body is completely rust free the frame has been painted so kinda hard to tell on the rust there but nothing obvious. interior is clean minor cosmetic scratches but in good shape.
I can buy it for 19500.
What do I need to look for or ask?
thanks for the help
TS

he’s got a carfax report has a few oil changes but that’s all. Not sure about the the mileage says it’s a one owner but I was wanting to look at the engine hours what do you think they should be at?

Sounds like a good truck. As mentioned above, amount of owners, maintenance history should give you a little piece of mind. Probably getting it checked out by a mechanic would be worth the money too if you don't have a lot of service records.

Mine is a 2 previous owner truck 2003 F250 Lariat V10. I bought it with 92K miles 3 years ago (for $18K during the Covid years) and haven't looked back. All maintenance records (all oil changes / fuel filter / air filter, etc.) show performed at a Ford dealership at regular intervals.

Came with a B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch too (looking forward to using it someday). Ball joints and spark plugs were replaced at 85K miles before I bought the truck. A gearing modification (best $2K dollars I've ever spent), tires, shocks, transmission flush, hubs/vacuum solenoid replaced (still ESOF capable) , bleed brakes, charged AC (blowing cold for 2 years since), and adjusting steering gear are the major items I've addressed. Running 5w30 full synthetic and changing oil every 5K miles (burns a quart in 5K miles).

I've currently got 106K miles and pic attached was from yesterday at local deli. Very happy with the truck. Does everything I want to use it for: tow 30ft. travel trailer, tow ski-boats, make runs to the dumps, do a little mild off-roading, commute sometimes into work, etc. It's a very pleasant ride whether towing or not. ~$23K total (including truck purchase) invested.

Just my opinion, but I would think anything around 1700-1900 total hours is not to shabby.

I have a diesel, so I am not sure if the info display on the gasser shows engine hours and idle hours, or just the total.
