Well just joined so I can get some much needed advice. Just picked up a 06 fx4 my 2nd f150. Had a 2016 xl long bed I loved except the long bed. Traded it in for a SUV for my wife and bought the 06. I am going to put some fender flares on first so that is what I'll be asking about. So dang many on the market. Sooooo see ya around.

I would just get some that are OEM/factory style or repop versions and mount them and go. Your Ford dealership can probably get them or get the actual factory fender lip protection in black. 2004-2008 all the same. OEM one's mount in holes already there.
The do NOT quite work the best, I need to add some mud flaps to the equation.
