I have a 5x16 utility trailer
I want some kind of box to fit on the trailer tongue to put my ratchet straps, extra trailer lights, and such in
It doesn't have to be very deep at all
Just maybe 3 feet wide... 2 foot tall
and about 6 inches to a foot from the front of the trailer towards the tongue
Any ideas on where to get one?
Tractors suplys used to carry really sharp looking diamond plated ones with nice handles and locks the hole shabang They make em kinda triangle shaped so the fit in the toung really well and they come with all the hardware to mount. I would check there they are normally pretty reasonably priced
My neighbor was looking for the same type of thing to put on his pontoon boat trailer for staps and life vest. He had an old tool box for a pickup truck he use to have. You know, one of those aluminum diamond plate boxes for the back of a pickup. Worked out great, just driiled a few holes and mounted it right on the tongue.
