where is the SPOUT connector on a 1994 302. i dont have an ignition module on the distributor like the older vehicles. i was trying to set my timing and i cannot find out where to unhook the advance. thanks for any help...
there should be some earlier posts about it - but I have the same truck.
Look on the drivers side fender wall by the master cylinder. Look for a small wire wrapped in a black loom that just ends. It doesn't connect on one end and hangs loose. If you pull gently on wires on the driver's side of the engine compartment you'll find it. When you find it - at the end is the spout connector. It's usually somewhat near the connector to pull codes.
