86 to 88 swap

I am trying to switch the instrument cluster from my 1986 B2 (factory tach.) with automatic transmission, with the one from my 1988 B2 (no factory tach.) with a stock 5 speed manual trans. Is it possible?

The cluster should bolt in but the wiring harness might be different. A trip to the parts yard might yield you the pigtail you need to complete the journey.
