89 lariat 4x4
hey guys...new to the truck thing...need some opinions....I just purchased an 89 f150 lariat 4x4...fully loaded with a 5.0 5 speed
this truck is in immaculate condition inside and out...no wrecks,dents,and the interior is perfect...the problems with the truck are(see if there is a connection here) it has a broken exhaust manifold(drivers side down the middle)..the number 8 spark plug was absolutely caked with black crap,all the rest were fine...the motor appears to be running on all 8 but does have a rough idle etc...and of course an exhaust leak...also when I drive it I notice from time to time a repeating check engine light that blinks twice then once...I paid a thousand dollars for the truck and feel I did ok but these other little problems concern me...somebody out there please educate me...I am a pro mustang man but know little about these f series trucks...thx

First of all your going to want to pull the codes you can use that link or autozone will do it for you free of charge. Then you can probably go from there.
